Results of the 2018 High Sierra Spring Golf Classic
Held June 1 - 3, 2018
We thank each of you for participating in this year’s event and express our gratitude to all participants. This year marks the seventh year of this event. The company was great and the weather was fantastic!
Fund Raising Report
The silent auction raised $6,800. We received an additional $6,000 in contributions. On behalf of the students receiving support from you, we thank you for your generosity. We cannot do it with your support and assistance and want you to know you have made a big difference in their lives!
Next Year’s Dates for the High Sierra Classic:
June 7 & 8, 2019
Please note: We have decided to have a two-day event next year. We will continue to play Grizzly Ranch on Friday, have the seminar on Saturday morning and then play Whitehawk Ranch on Saturday afternoon. Dinner at the Lodge with silent auction will occur on Saturday evening.
Donations for Next Year’s Auction
Several friends have indicated their interest in making available items or even time in resorts as donation items for next year’s event. If you are considering this option, please advise us as soon as you can. Thank you to those who have donated in past events as well.
READING LIST
I confess to be a devoted reader of biographies, history, current events and some fiction. I invite anyone who has read some good fiction to advise me and I will share it with everyone. The following list covers the past 12-14 months. I recently donated a number of the legal histories to the Whitehawk Reading room.
